Something shifted at Dscoop Edge Rockies.

What started as a packed, high-energy AI Automation Hack-A-Thon quickly became something more - a signal that the print industry is ready to move beyond theory and into real, measurable automation.

Now, that momentum is becoming a community.

On April 23 at 11:00 AM EST, the Dscoop Automation Club (DAC) will officially launch with its inaugural webinar, bringing together print service providers, partners, and automation leaders to build on what started in the Rockies.

Innovaic is proud to be part of that next step as a Founding Member.

From Hackathon to Community

The AI Automation Hack-A-Thon 4.0 wasn’t just another event session. It was a hands-on, working environment where real problems were tackled in real time.

Our own Automation Sprint, led by Daryl Davis, focused on one of the most critical challenges facing print businesses today - the gap between estimated and actual production costs.

Using AI tools and HP PrintOS APIs, the sprint demonstrated how production data can be captured automatically, analysed in real time, and used to provide true visibility into job profitability.

Because automation shouldn’t be theoretical. It should be measurable. And it should drive margin.

That mindset sits at the core of the Dscoop Automation Club.

What the Dscoop Automation Club Represents

The DAC is more than a webinar series. It’s a free, integration-driven community built for print businesses that are serious about automation, AI, and getting more from their technology investments.

It brings together people who are actively solving problems across:

  • workflow automation
  • system integration
  • data visibility
  • production efficiency
  • AI-driven decision making

The focus is simple - move beyond disconnected systems and fragmented workflows, and start building environments where data flows, systems connect, and production scales.

For Innovaic, this aligns directly with how we approach every customer conversation.

Why Founding Membership Matters

Being part of the DAC as a Founding Member isn’t just about presence - it’s about participation.

It’s about helping shape the direction of a community that is focused on practical outcomes, not theoretical discussions.

It also reflects the strength of the relationships built across the HP ecosystem, from the PrintOS team through to partners and PSPs who are actively pushing the industry forward.

The launch webinar will be hosted by:

  • Bob Raus, Americas Category Manager - HP PrintOS, Workflow and Solution Partner Programs
  • Chad Stevens, Integrations Engineer at HP
  • Chris Minn, CEO & Founder, Digital Ink

With contributions from those directly involved in the Hack-A-Thon, including insights from the Automation Sprints.

What to Expect from the Launch Webinar

The inaugural session will reflect on what happened at Dscoop Edge Rockies and formally introduce the Dscoop Automation Club, its mission, and what members can expect moving forward.

This includes:

  • A recap of the AI Automation Hack-A-Thon 4.0
  • The vision and structure of the DAC
  • What Founding Member status means
  • Upcoming sessions, workshops, and community initiatives in Q2
  • Open Q&A with the community

Whether you were in the room in Colorado or are hearing about it for the first time, this is the entry point into a growing automation-focused network.

Join the Conversation:

Automation in print is no longer a future concept. It’s happening now - and the businesses that succeed will be the ones that move early, connect their systems, and build around data.

The Dscoop Automation Club is where those conversations are happening.
